Two families came together
Since their college days, Mike and Keith have been close friends and business partners. With their families in tow, they embarked on transforming a mid century home into a beautiful wedding venue. Throughout the process, the families have made countless memories on the property. Now as the renovations are completed and the venue has opened, the families envision a place where many joyous celebrations will take place (perhaps even a wedding or two for their own children some day)!
Here’s how it all unfolded:
2006
Friends from college
Mike and Keith first crossed paths in college. Their friendship has evolved into a dynamic partnership, where they have always shared the same desire to help others and find meaning in the statement “Do it Right.” As a result, this has paved the way for countless memorable moments and successful business ventures.
2020
We found the property
As they first drove up to the property, they were instantly enchanted by the land and the uniqueness of the surroundings. Stepping onto the grounds of the property felt like stepping back in time. Despite sitting vacant for years, the house spoke volumes with its silent charm. The families fell in love with the property.
2021
We made it an office space
January 2021, the families officially became the proud owners of “Old Baucom.” Amidst the uncertainty of the pandemic, Mike, Keith and their families took a leap of faith and purchased the property.
2022
Diamond in the rough
As the owners embarked on the renovation journey of the mid-century home, their primary goal was clear: to maintain its vintage charm while modernizing it and creating a luxury destination. Despite the challenging renovations, the owners saw beyond the rough exterior of the property, recognizing its potential to shine brightly.
2023
Wait, what about a wedding venue?
As the finishing touches were being applied to the property, the busy families found themselves pondering its future use. While considering listing it on Airbnb, they couldn’t help but notice the frequent inquiries asking if weddings would be hosted there. This recurring question sparked a new idea. With its serene ambiance and inviting atmosphere, the families agreed this is the perfect place to host weddings. Baucom House Venue was born.

Where we are now
With the doors of their wedding venue opened wide, the owners welcome each couple with a heartfelt promise - to create a celebration as unique and beautiful as their love story. Fueled by passion and care, they pour themselves into every detail, ensuring moments of joy, elegance, and meaning. Above all, their devotion is to making each wedding day and event feel timeless & unforgettable.
